El Santísimo Sacramento - La Eucaristía

El Santísimo Sacramento, también conocido como la Eucaristía, es uno de los sacramentos más importantes en la tradición cristiana católica.Se basa en la creencia de que durante la Última Cena, Jesucristo instituyó este sacramento al tomar pan y vino, bendecirlos y compartirlos con sus discípulos,diciendo: "Esto es mi cuerpo" (refiriéndose al pan) y "Esta es mi sangre" (refiriéndose al vino).

La Eucaristía es considerada el centro de la vida sacramental y litúrgica de la Iglesia Católica y se celebra regularmente durante la Misa.Los católicos creen que durante la consagración, el pan y el vino se transforman en el Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo,aunque siguen manteniendo su apariencia externa. Este proceso se llama la transubstanciación, donde la sustancia del pan y el vino cambia en su esenciamientras que las apariencias físicas permanecen iguales.
